    We've had this discussion before.

    It goes something like this:

    "Fuck gun free zones."
"But, but, but you're violating the property owner's rights"
"My rights to self defense supercede his rights as a property owner."
    "Then don't patronize the business."

argue, argue, argue about rights and who has more of them...

I'm in the "Fuck gun free zones" camp.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

If we can force a baker to make a cake against his beliefs, then I do not have to abide by a sign that infringes on a constitutional right.

So someone can come on to your property and behave in any manner they want? Maybe they're in the "Fuck Brutal's Property Rights" camp.

In your argument, someone has to give up rights. That's not how it works. You don't like the rules, don't go there. Nobody gives up rights that way. And, no, I'm not arguing in support of "gun-free" zones.

I'm 45 years old. If I unintentionally carry in a gun free zone then the sign that was posted there probably wasn't big enough for me to read.

Most of those signs are so small you have to be specifically looking for them to even see them - not something I'm in the habit of doing. If you want to post a sign that I can see without having to look for it I'll be happy to take my business elsewhere, now where did I leave my darn reading glasses....

    Good summary.

Well, we're talking generally in the context of a place of business here so I should have qualified my statement. I wouldn't prevent any law abiding citizen to legally carry on my property as long as they're otherwise obeying the law and not a threat to me or my family.

Oh no, property rights, not again. This will go back and forth for a while and about 40 posts latter the mods will threaten to ban you and you will not have won. You'll just end up with the cold realization that common sense is not that common. Just walk away while you can.

This is one of the reasons I have reverted to drive by posting. Post one or two comments and move along to a different thread. Stop back by once in a while to see if an argument has developed over what you said. If they're yelling don't get pulled back in, just move on.
