Last time I heard the stadium that loud when Manning came in is when Tebow came in. Tebow carried that for every home game into the playoff game vs the Steelers. Only thing I can equate it to is when the headliner comes on stage even when the opening band was very good.

Hope the home field advantage is not squandered and the 12th man shows up.
"Maybe" that would have panned out if we did not have five turnovers?? Those turnovers were undoubtedly why Denver didn't have a blowout. The O line wasnt doing so hot until the Schofield situation was addressed; funny how 23 came up with a nice TD run on that side shortly after. Sometimes I wonder if I was watching the same game as everybody else because other than Talib running the wrong route on williams the Chargers did not move the ball very well. Before that bomb to Williams, Rivers had less than 150 yards of passing. Say all you want about that D, but to hold the Chargers to only 3 points on the first 4 turnovers is pretty damn impressive.

    Oh...and Tewho??

The defense kicked ass. The Chargers should have one that game. I forget the exact stat but a team hasn't won a game with a +4 in turnovers in like 30 some years.

I just brought up Tebow because unless you were there you would never really know or feel how differently the crowd and the team played. Hard to explain but it definitely made a difference. Guess another example is when TD went in for a migraine during the superbowl and came back out it really lifted the team. Same for the Elway run and helicopter hit and bounced back up. Probably same emotional adrenaline dump with the team and Manning. And the lineman change was no fluke as well.

I remember it, I wasn't there, but as a one of the fans pissed about our 1-4 season to that point, I'm sure it's safe to say that the excitement wouldnt have been much different with ANY supposed up and coming QB stepping in to bench Orton.

But to win a championship game against the NFC you need offense that can handle their defense-the Broncos, as much as I'd like to see them do it, will fall short.

If, and it's a big if, Cj can be healthy, and they use him as a bell cow, they can open up the pass game like they used to. The line has to do its job as well. Hillman is a good back, but we misuse him. I wouldn't mind seeing a few two back sets with those two as well.

Hell, I don't even know if they'll make it that far. It's been a Jekyll and Hyde team for the last couple years.

Is it just me or does anybody else think that the Patriots spent the entire night on the phone bribing ref's. You know they don't want play the Bronco's here. So I'm sure they got out the check book to make sure the Steelers win. Just sayin, cheaters cheat!!

Did you watch the Broncos patriots game? I'm a Denver fan, but the patriots certainly didn't get any ref help in that one.
