Holy shit. 23 min of broncos coverage on all 10p.m news. Do they honestly warrant 20+ minutes of sports coverage during a News 1/2 hhr?

Siemian looked really good tonight. One of those INTs was all on him but that tipped ball by the two unblocked D-linemen aren't. I'm glad Kubiak came out and let him rebound nicely.

Wouldn't matter if they won by 1 or 50. They're now 1-0

So sick of people riding this defense's jock. They're good, but so is Cincinnati. And both units sure do love to play dirty. It's like Talib, Stewart, Ward, and Marshall got together and tried to replicate Burfict and PacMan's energy...by way of headhunting.
False. Pretty good is very generous. Poor mechanics, awful accuracy, unable to diagnose a defensive set, no progressions/reads. He was a good guy, and athletic, but he was never going to be a franchise quarterback.
Interesting the narratives coming from the game.
Brandon Marshall kneeling for injustice's when he is part of a league that is well over 60% minorities. He states he is not against military, law enforcement or America but that is just what has restored equality against actions of men (mostly white Democrats) against minorities in the past. It is too bad he is being lead down this path of false narrative. It is not his only platform to make statements or do something. It takes away from the TEAM.
At the same time fans are screaming about Cam on two fronts. One is he is not getting calls like other quarterbacks would when contact is being made. Unfortunately his game play puts him out for just such hits. During the Super Bowl they wanted Cam to stay in the pocket and beat the Broncos with his head, arm and other players on the team. Last night's game it was obvious they wanted him more autonomy to make plays with his feet when the play blew up. More scripted QB runs. That does not excuse the hard hits but players are use to the person with the ball to protect themselves when they realize a hit is coming. Cam kept his head up trying to make something happen. Mix that with all the other rules of when and where the QB can and can not get hit in real time hard hits will go awry. The same thing happened with Rothlessburger at Pittsburgh. He was tuff in the pocket and would fight to the end going down or throwing away. That lead to injuries. He learned the hard way what most other QB's have. Make smart throws to end the play when it blows up. Slide or get out of bounds before getting hit. When everything is bleak go down and protect yourself, protect the ball and take the sack. I was at the game last night. After Cam made his TD he specifically taunted the crowd in the south stands and took a victory lap through the south end zone. Playing back the game on my DVR after the game the network did not show this at all.
The other is he was not granted the concussion protocol during the game. Some in the sports media were outraged Cam was not protected more. Seems no one wanted to be that person to take Cam out at that particular moment in the game. Limbaugh took this to the end game and is correctly stating teams will purposefully take the 15 yard penalty if it means taking out the opposing starting QB with the protocol.
Missing is how strong our run game looked again. Our rookie QB performed well enough to beat the team we faced in SB 50...again. Defense still strong.
Armageddon was yesterday, today we have a real problem.

I watched the game, and I like the Broncos and the Ownership. Here are my takeways.
1. Approximately 180 players and staff of two NFL franchises respected the National Anthem by standing for it.
2. Siemien has a 69.1 QB Rating in his first game against one of the top 2 or 3 Defenses in the NFL. He made what appeared to be 4 poor decisions, one of which was a 14 point swing.
3. Anderson rushed for 4.6/carry, 0.1 yards under his career average, against one of the top 2 or 3 Defenses in the NFL. The O-Line looked much improved.
4. The Defense, missing two key players from last year, was solid against one of the most unpredictable offenses in the game.
5. If they had lost by 28 to 17, I still think takeaways 1-4 would be valid and it appears the elements in 1-4 stand to improve over the course of the season.
