It is amusing (or perhaps, depressing?) how many people are holding cell phones above their head in that picture.

I'm not following, perhaps it's because I've chosen not to be technology oppressed. You can have a camcorder or camera, or you can use your smart phone to catch whatever video/photo opportunities you like.

I'm an IT tech and a programmer. I do find it ironic when people try to experience life (which is right in front of them) through a 3" cell phone screen while paying like 10 grand. Your seat offers good visibility, but I would really hate (in a different seat) for someone's (or more than someones) arm and cell phone to be obstructing the view.

E.g. - people buy a ticket there for the experience. If they want to watch it on a screen, why not save $9,000 and watch it on TV (recorded on a $50,000 camera as opposed to a $400 iPhone).

Take some pics.. take a short vid... sure... but to hold the damn phone over your head filming the whole time forcing me to watch the show thru your phone is well wrong.

This happens at concerts way too much and as someone who works them specifically doing lights there are al the fuckheads that can't turn the LED light off not the phone ruining the look of the show I'm trying to achieve. Thanks pal!

This is EVERY SINGLE SHOW. And I have had concerts ruined ( with assigned seating) by the jack wagon in front filming the whole thing .

Nd it's EXACTLY what your talking about ... just instead of football it's a concert .. a live event either way .
