I watched the game, and I like the Broncos and the Ownership. Here are my takeways.

1. Approximately 180 players and staff of two NFL franchises respected the National Anthem by standing for it.

2. Siemien has a 69.1 QB Rating in his first game against one of the top 2 or 3 Defenses in the NFL. He made what appeared to be 4 poor decisions, one of which was a 14 point swing.

3. Anderson rushed for 4.6/carry, 0.1 yards under his career average, against one of the top 2 or 3 Defenses in the NFL. The O-Line looked much improved.

4. The Defense, missing two key players from last year, was solid against one of the most unpredictable offenses in the game.

5. If they had lost by 28 to 17, I still think takeaways 1-4 would be valid and it appears the elements in 1-4 stand to improve over the course of the season.
