I wouldn't be too worried about Colorado Springs... it's basically the buckle of the "Bible Belt" in the amount of Christian evangelists in town, along with being extremely conservative and very gun-friendly... When I was going to church there, I knew of at least 4 other people every Sunday that were armed in our church out of about 300-400 people in regular attendance at each worship service. Colorado Springs is where I got pulled over, and then complimented on the "cool" AR-15 sticker on my back window by the LEO. Though the "JV team" has named Colorado Springs as a target (and there is credible intel associated with the threat), I don't think anybody needs to cloister themselves in their bathtub or basement with the guns. If you don't regularly carry, this is exactly why you should. If you do, this is what you've been training and practicing for. Either way, "The felon does not fear the police, and he fears neither judge nor jury. Therefore, he must be taught to fear his victim." -Jeff Cooper.
