Had some blasting winds early this morning, about 8am to noon. They caused a quick brown out which led to the weirdest thing ever...
The power flicked on on and off 2 or 3 times within 5 seconds, but then I only got power back to half the outlets/appliances in my house. And other appliances had reduced voltage. My electric stove burners would get warm, but never HOT. Never even managed to glow red. It took 15+ minutes just to fry an egg. That was a first for me. And my voltmeter is on the fritz so I couldn't even do some investigation.

Anyone let me know what it's doing along I25 ish in Denver? (more central the better) Supposed to be "trace" amounts but have 1-2 inches here in Frederick. Trying to figure out how early I have to get up, was already a 4am wakeup before snow... >.<
I love this site in the winter: http://www.cotrip.org/map.htm
Never leave home without checking a camera or two for the route I will be taking.
It's snowing like a mofo out in very east Aurora. Already have a couple inches accumulation and it just started around 7. I also saw that they had I-70 closed going up the hill from C470 to Silverthorne in both directions. Were we supposed to get dumped on again?
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that - George Carlin
The drive up 285 was interesting. Got my snows put on Monday so I was fun but passed lots of dumb asses slid out all over road. I swear people are so damn stupid.

Crickets on this storm?
C-470 between I-70 (West) and Santa Fe has chain rule in effect I guess.

8 inches and snowed in for the day
The duratracs on the Xterra are loving this.
