I try to avoid looking at his unicorn.
You do realize they were under orders to miss so that the Millennium Falcon could be tracked to the rebel base Yavin 5, but not make it appear that they were just being let go. They shot perfectly fine assaulting the consular ship in the opening scene and they didn't miss those Jawas or Lars and Beru.
I guess I'm too serious about my firearms. I don't get it.
