Lots of reasons for no eggs this time of year. First, it is stressed, secondly as mentioned, not enough daylight. Thirdly, the change in it's diet will delay the laying as well. The dogs staring it down probably isn't easing it into laying mode. They Barred Rock is a decent producer of eggs.

Irving standing there with some ky doesn't help. NO REALLY it makes the eggs come out easier, range AND Cruelty free.. Totally organic.
