The Barred Rock we had was a cold breed, as is the Buff Orpington. Those are my main two choices. I doubt the local places are going to be dealing with more exotic stuff and I'm not interested in paying the prices for more exotic birds either.

I've heard the Buff Orpingtons have a wonderful temperment!
