Talk to ScottyD, and or Offgrid. They will give you the lowdown and probably let you tryout one or two.

Thanks guys. My Dad went and bought one already, ruining the perfect Christmas gift. However, now I want one...

Instead a note about the alloy light pellets. They are great for getting high fps numbers, but worthless for accuracy. Not even sure why they exist. On a high power rifle, go with the heavy pellets. Actually, try several as air rifles tend to like one pellet over another. A lot of people have success with the crosman premier line. My hatsan pcp loves the crosman premier ultra mags. $9/500. I like that

also my experience. Crossman seem to work better than daisy brand too.

I have been thinking of getting a .22 air rifle for a while now. I typed it in on amazon, and the Crossman .22 Nitro Venom vcame up on a lightening deal for $99 with free prime shipping. I bought one, so we will see in a few days.

ID:	62432 Not sure why the gun is upside down but you get the point.. Those pellets are awesome and that trigger is ridiculous!!! Lightest trigger ever it's literally scary.. It's from like Arizona air guns or something to that affect.. But I was getting some pretty tight groups with this... I also upgraded that scope can't remember what scope it is but it was bought off some air rifle site. I like this gun but almost wishing I would have went with one of the CO2 powered 25 cals... Whatever you do don't watch a bunch of YouTube videos of air guns killing stuff.. Specifically I want the benjamin marauder... Look up YouTube videos on that. I think someone on here had one for sale a while back but it was the same amount or close to what you could buy one new... You don't have the quiet factor but you have a ton of power to take down some critters.. Thought about using it for kit fox in AZ.. But never checked the regs to see if it was legal but they are tiny and not the brightest critters so thought it would be fun!
