Anyone Interested in their Health, Life, Safety.. SHOULD have 1-2 reliable firearms, if not a 2nd one of your primary. 10 magazines per gun. 1K of ammo per gun, Minimum.

    IMO .
    Long gun
    hand gun
    Shot gun

working knowledge of each. Ability to troubleshoot FTF's FTE's etc. Take down of each gun. NO one does not need to have ability to remove and head space barrels. It's nice to have a good set of armor's tools. BUT, not a necessity.
Are your mags in working order? Do your guns work with a variety of ammo ? Is everyone in the household capable of taking one of those guns and using it proficiently ?
DO They know the basic operation of each gun ?

According to 'the media', I can buy assault rifles on the Internet.

I wonder, what am I doing wrong?

Each to his own and according to his ability and choice.

IMO small people dictate choices to free people which results in the end of freedom for all.

Please do not let the conversation turn into members turning on other members based on your individual choices. Be satisfied that you still have the ability to make choices for yourself and try not to project the righteousness of your choices on others.

    Thank you.

Matt Walsh calling out the failed PC culture: http://www.theblaze.com/contribution...e-already-has/

    Excerpt:
Many outlets speculated that the incident was sparked by an argument Farook had with a coworker at the party. Because it’s apparently feasible that someone might — totally on the spur of the moment, mind you — grab rifles and explosives, strap on body armor, recruit an accomplice and engage in a swift coordinated attack before escaping in a black SUV as the cops arrive. Sure.

While the media feigned confusion as to the motives and religious convictions of the killers, the rest of the country knew they were Muslim without even hearing their names. Two or more heavily armed assailants attacking a soft target with high powered weaponry, tactical gear and explosives? Muslims. Terrorism. Definitely. It’s not racist to make that assumption. It’s rational. I’d love to be proven wrong sometime, but that’s up to the Muslim community. Stop killing people and then I can stop noticing that you kill people. Very simple formula, folks.

But this is where political correctness leads. In fact it’s even worse. In this case, political correctness may have just indirectly killed 14 people. Reports are now surfacing that people in the neighborhood noticed suspicious activity in the weeks leading up the attack but chose not to call the police because they didn’t want to be guilty of “racial profiling.”

    Watching the news...
    They keep saying "Radical Jihad".
Does that make us believe normal old Jihad is ok?

I've ordered some lowers as well, just so I can be on a list.

Oh yeah, normal Jihad is fine.

So is murdering people without guns. That's all we care about now is gun murders and radical Jihad.
