love how they always go to the RPG, tank, nuclear option to discuss limits.

And yes, if I could pay a $200 tax stamp and afford one, I would have all of the above. lolz

Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

Plenty of people own armored and tracked vehicles. Some people even own tanks, although a tank with no working machine gun or main gun is sort of like owning a castrated stud bull.

If a person has enough money, they can own just about anything. If I own a nuclear weapon, have the ability to safeguard it, but never use it, who is harmed? The criminal aspect should be in the act not in the ownership.

Find the thing a progressive owns and loves and then threaten to have the government take it from them by force. I'm still not certain that they would understand.

That is similar to people suggesting that marrying an animal is the next step after gay marriage.

Would you apply this to an Iran nuclear program?

I have not formed an opinion on Iran.

I bet they'd throw a fit if it was iPhones that we're going to be taken away.

My comments are focused on the rights of US citizens under our Constitution. I am not entirely convinced that international law exists except in the most rudimentary sense of national self interest.

Iran will have nuclear weapons unless another nation takes action to prevent them from having those weapons. Many countries have been wary of trusting the USA due to the mercurial nature of our internal politics.

If Iran had nuclear weapons, they safeguarded those weapons, and NEVER used them, who would be harmed? I believe the problem is many in the West, including me, do not trust that the Iranians will safeguard their weapons. I do not know if Iran would ever use a nuclear weapon and I do not believe it is in our nation's interest to risk finding out. I also do not believe the USA currently has the will to take the action necessary to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

So we need some "common sense" iPhone regulation to prevent harm to others.
