My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

I'll let you know how it goes. Shipped mine out today, with tracking and signature required. I have the original receipt from 2015 purchase. I did NOT send the receipt with the package. I figured I can always scan it and email if they need it.
That would be great. Thx.
I might send them an email with a few questions since I suspect everyone has left for the weekend.

MY FEEDBACK!
I got mine as a gift, but would love to know the details as well.
Obviously not a golfer.
LOL! Yeah, I'm hoping they dont pull a d-bag move. That being said, I was already looking at Aimpoints due to weight savings even though I enjoy the Eotech reticle/FOV more. Being a 2015 purchase with receipt, I assume I'll have ZERO issues if they aren't scamming on this. Larry Vickers did post this up on his FB page to encourage people to get refunds so you'd hope he wouldn't be peddling a bogus deal.
I'll take yours off your hands. If my house is on fire, I'm hoping not to be involved in cqb at the same time, at the other end of the spectrum, I could possibly be drafted for the upcoming war in Antarctica.

Having used EOTech optics in a duty environment for almost a decade, I'm not switching. Their stuff works and holds up to all the use and abuse I can dish out for sure.
I own three, two 516s and an EXPS-2, and all three of them hold zero and work exactly the way I need them to. Of course, I tend not to go outside when it's -40 or 122 degrees.
A guy on r/guns chucked his 512 in the freezer for 12 hours and it didn't budge, link HERE.
The first is the reliability of the HWS in extreme temperatures, referred to as “Thermal Drift”. The PMO has noted a +/- 4 MOA shift at -40 Deg F and 122 Deg F. Second, is the concern over the claim by EOTech that their HWS are parallax free which was the subject of a previous Safety of Use Message from the same office issued 16 March, 2015. In this case they noted between 4 and 6 MOA parallax error depending on temperature conditions. Despite the PMO working with EOTech to rectify the issues, they still have not been resolved.

My XPS-2 is going back today . . . got my RMA approval. Will post updates on the refund as that progresses. Aimpoint already on the way.
I debated sending mine back. Have only had it for a year and haven't done a ton of shooting with it up to now. Would I ever experience an issue? No idea . . . maybe not. But the information that has come out on the issues and the company's response (and lack of response) just doesn't sit well. And they aren't putting up a fight at all about offering refunds at this point--apparently even for 10+ year old, heavily used sights. Not exactly the actions of a company whose product has been unfairly maligned.
So to me, it makes sense to take a mulligan, get a refund, and move on while the opportunity is there. I'd be hacked down the road if I started noticing issues and I would always be wondering if that day would come.
