Eotech getting sued?
Did a quick search, sorry if repost.

apparently eotech falsified about their products' "performance" and got sued. Seems like they're issuing refunds.
Yea I know people who have been approved for a refund from them. I'm shocked they are giving refunds.
Their FAG has also been updated to note the potential shift

Refund was approved today...eotech shipping out tomorrow.
Mick Boy posted a thread on the issue some time ago. I did post an update in the thread regarding the settlement.

Whoa... what's the catch? Why would I not want to send for a refund on my EOTech 556? (I got 6 years ago... I'd feel kind of.. dirty?)

In light of the recent information, I can no longer trust this optic and would not have purchased if this information was known prior.
The conditions in which there is poi shift is unlikely to be encountered stateside by anyone at gone or recreationally.
Granted unless fixed if love to see then come down like 150 in price.
For the price, I don't want to have to think about that. For $150, I wouldnt care much like primary arms optics. I expect they may not perform under extreme conditions.
This is weird. Part of me believes they are refunding people for the purchase but the other part thinks there is something funky about this.
I can't find anything about this buyback on their website other than the RMA link. They don't ask for a proof of purchase for the price and say they will refund the $ as soon as possible. Then to top it off the posters on the link say its not a $$ refund but a L3 credit. Did anyone call L3? I'd like more info before I send my pair back. Those of you who sent some back please let us know what you find out.
