    There's a first time for everything. Some special tools are required to do the job right but I'm sure someone here would be glad to assist you with putting it together if you went that route.

    I need a few pistol uppers too.. next year's focus is optics. No more lowers, or pistols or anything that can be turned into NFA items.. I have to get optics. ::twitch::

    I like my psa standard 10.5, I had a red x 7.5 and it was fun but too loud.

    Both were very reliable with all ammo, the 7.5 was a bit rougher with the pistol gas system.

    The upper is really easy to build. The only thing I payed to have done was the barrel nut just because I don't have a vice block for the upper. If you have a torque wrench armors tool and roll pin punch set and mallet if your upper has a forward assist that's really all the hand tools you need. And of course an upper vice block and a properly mounted vice for torquing down the barrel nut

    I built %99 of my ar on my kitchen table. I put some old bath towels down so as not to scratch the table
