If you use torrents DO NOT switch to Comcast ... they'll catch on and either throttle your connection or just outright ban you.

I had TDS cable and it sucked, i just bought a couple Xbox 360's and use Hulu and Netflix for now.

We dropped Comcast YEARS ago, and have never looked back. Except to go over the savings, then, yeah, we looked back, and LAUGHED! All the way to the bank!

I have a Verizon jet pack for work, but I've never tried to stream on it. I think they aren't all that expensive. Anyone have experience trying to stream off the bigger ones? I suppose I should try it before I lose it in a month.

Correction, I've steamed on a single device only and it works fine. For only $30/month, we may end up switching to that.

Comcast sucks. Used to have cable then got rid of it. Now I only use Internet from them. Since I own the modem it is a nightmare to get it set up with them.

Yeah, Comcast wants that $5 (might be higher now) for their modem to access their net, they don't like it when we try to save a few bucks, Comcast should include a modem with their $70/month internet service.

On the west slope it's Charter (used to be optimum, and a bunch of other companies that keep getting bought out). Overall I don't have any complaints. The fastest service here is only 30mbps though. It would be nice to get some of those 60mbps feeds you get on that side of the state. But, not having to deal with cumcast makes half the speed worthwhile.

That said, Quest DSL (or whoever owns it now) was one of the worst I'd ever dealt with in the past.

My and my sister's experience with Century Link DSL was worse than Comcast, we're both back on Comcast.

I've never had anything but good experiences with Century Link. Maybe they have better people down here in The Springs?
