Default CISA Attached As Rider; Signed Officially

    http://www.engadget.com/2015/12/18/h...get-with-cisa/
By sticking CISA into such a huge omnibus bill, there's basically no way it won't become law. And if anything, the version of CISA that was quietly slipped into this budget plays with privacy even faster and looser than the original. For one, a previously held prohibition against sharing information with the NSA has been removed, meaning America's best surveillance agency can receive pertinent data without it being handled by Homeland Security first. More importantly, the provision that required personal information to be scrubbed from cybersecurity reports also seems to have gone missing, leaving that task up to the discretion of which ever agency gets their hands on it.

And the 4th amendment gets another bite taken out of it.

    Default Law

One of those if you use anything electronic, you have no right to privacy. Cybernetics is the science of control. Are you scared yet?

Why can't we ever slip something in one of these "too big to read it all" bills to give everyone a free suppressor?

I don't need to worry. I've been on "the List" for years.

With the wide net they are casting (and it's as large as possible), it will be difficult to be effective. The span of control is fairly limited and resources are tight. This makes me believe it's a lot less about the stated reason (terrorism) and more about something else.

If the resourced are focused they can be more effective but then you have ask why they can't get a warrant and stay within our civil rights.

Kind of like universal background checks... Gun grabbers are really happy they got them in CO. So how many prohibited persons were charged with lying on 4473s after July 1, 2013? Zero (at last check). They obviously aren't interested in keeping guns out of the wrong hands or those people would have been investigated, charged, convicted, etc... They are interested in everyone getting a BGC for every weapon.

Wonder if this has to do with tracking down off-shore money that is avoiding taxation.
