I don't really see the point. He's not gonna care and the membership money can't be used for lobbying or other political ends. Frankly, I don't think it's a good idea at all. Does this guy really think people are going to see a "mailman with bags of NRA I'd rather see a:
"Don't Donate to the NRA...Donate to the NRA/ILA" instead. Or, buy someone a membership who may encourage others to join rather than wasting money on some feel-good/do-nothing campaign against Bloomberg.

That being said, if an individual could legally donate to the NRA - ILA in Bloomberg's name, that would be hilarious. How funny would it be if a story surfaced showing that Bloomberg had donated several thousand dollars to the ILA over the past few years?
