Don't wear tactical gear in Illinois

Photographers have been known to wear what we refer to as "concealment vests" to carry their equipment, and last I knew, taking pictures of buildings wasn't a capital offense. We don't know enough to know if this guy was a bad actor, or just made bad decisions when he was contacted by the police. Stupid is sometimes fatal, I guess.

When "shall issue" CCW started becoming the law of the land in the late 90's I know a lot of CCW'ers would wear similar vests, to the point where someone started calling them "shoot-me-first vests."

Always makes me think of John Goodman's character in "The Big Lebowski."

Perhaps, airsoft are the new throwaway.
