    Has me very interested as well. Despite its size, it is a still a heavy rifle.

    Very true, I wonder how a similar built but with folding stock would stack against this. Might be smaller then too. One of these days (for no good) reason I want to build a 16" 308 or 223 like this. But probably on a much smaller budget.

    I've done lightweight hunting rifles using Manners T stocks and Savage actions. Always thought I needed at least a 20" barrel but after shooting my 308 AR with a 14.7 pinned barrel out to 600 yards, short will definitely work. Still long but like the idea of a folding stock.
