    Now that US equipment has been available as battle field pick-ups due to ISIS invading northern Iraq, I have seen more AR pattern rifles in the hands of various factions fighting the Middle East. I don't think they would use them if they didn't have to so maybe these rifle are holding up better in the hands of a "conscript army" than originally thought possible?

    Sample sized is crucial in these tests... One AK vs one AR is not really valid although fun to watch.

    I'd be curious to see how they perform in sandy conditions. I've seen AKs run despite people kicking sand and dirt into the action.
