I doubt it'll go anywhere but at least it hasn't been forgotten about.

I'm certain dudley's people will vote against it.
RMGO helped draft HB 16-1024 and definitely does support it.
For all the talk, thus far no one in the General Assembly, Republican or Democrat, is running a bill to alter the magazine capacity limits without repealing them altogether, as Jon Caldara suggested last year. If there were such a bill then RMGO could take a position on it. But there isn't.
Who did it. I want to remember him/them.

Please, please, someone introduce a bill to get rid of the backround check baloney.
I was wondering about this when I heard they were back in session. Can BGC's go away now that they're part of an Executive Order at the Fed level? I'm really hoping and praying we can get rid of the mag ban.
Please don't spread this mis-information. They are not part of any executive order, but I saw the same bullshit in a couple news articles.... the only thing obama's order did was attempt to increase the number of people who the ATF considers "in the business" and therefore need an FFL to operate. For private sellers selling/trading their own guns, the order did not mandate any background checks.
I'm sure Obama WANTED to do universal background checks by executive order, this gimmick was the closest he could get... lets not help give him what he wants by spreading false info.
If I had to choose getting rid of the UBGC or the mag ban I'd get rid of the UBGC ... but honestly the mag ban will be an easier sell.

A World Without Guns <- Great Read!
I'm not so sure- the mag ban being repealed could be seen as acknowledging that inanimate objects are not to blame, and good people should be allowed to have them.
but the UBGC is acknowledgement that there are people that should not have guns- reinforces there are evil people (or people overcome by evil), but guns are not evil on their own.
I don't like the UBGC law- I don't think they work at all, the feds don't have jurisdiction over a private transaction within a state's borders- and the state shouldn't regulate free men... I'm not sure they have the authority either... but here we are.
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ, we are the III%, CIP2, and some other catchphrase meant to aggravate progreSSives who are hell bent on taking rights away...
