Thanks for the merge. Didn't see this thread because I was looking for the bill number.

If the opposition wanted to be reasonable they should seriously consider this. The mag ban has saved 0 lives and even Rapsheet Rhonda had to lie to get it passed. But they don't want to be reasonable, they want to gut 2A.

Had heard about that too. Interesting. Ultimately I don't that will matter because the states can spend taxpayer dollars defending these "laws" like NY did with the unSAFE Act. If the legal fees spent defending unConstitutional laws came out of the campaign funds of the party that passed them a lot of things would change.

I think we are in agreement

More than likely there will be an all day "gun bill day" before that committee, where they will consider bills for constitutional carry, repeal of the magazine ban and carry on school grounds.

Won't happen... As Colorado begins to look more like California, the beach begins to look better than the mountains. A bit dramatic I know, but it's becoming the reality of the situation.

Only if the beach you're talking about is in Texas, Florida, or South Carolina. Bad as Colorado is getting, it's better than New Jersey, California, Oregon, Washington, or even Virginia.

I would have thought that by now, we would have seen some Amendment to repeal the weed thing. It has been a few years now and we are starting to see some of the unintended consequences. Am curious if the vote would go a different way. Sure you have the hard core stoners that will vote for it no matter what, but where they won was with the average Joe who was on the fence. As it was sold, it was basically limited to people doing it in their own residences where it does not affect others. Now that we have homes and apartments exploding around the state every few days, and rentals being turned into grow houses you might see those swing voters go a different way. Just a few days ago when I stopped at WalMart off Arapahoe road and there was a couple folks smoking up in a car in the parking lot.

You want to try and take this state back, your first step is getting rid of the things that make our state attractive to lefty leaning types.
