Exclamation Thunderbeast 338BA and 338P-1 Suppressor RECALL

I Just wanted to let everyone know that if you have a 338 to verify if it needs to be recalled or not. If so I suggest you get it taken care of right away and all official details are in the link below via TBAC.

    https://thunderbeastarms.com/news/33...-338ba-recall/

If you have questions or need help just reach out to me.

If you are affected and opt for the Ultra upgrade read the post under my section in "Industry partners." I'll have reduced transfer fees for folks that provide me with their NFA destruction letter.

    You are welcome.....

This is a headache for both parties but I expect nothing less from TBAC if anything like this ever occured. Mistakes happen in business and it's how they are dealt with in my opinion that really shows you what a company stands for.

Mine falls into the recall as well. I'd love to update to the new ultra can, with the idea of 41-P passing I may be limited to repair only. I've already done all the paperwork and got my RA, but I guess and wait to see how 41-P goes. Anyone know if it really has any steam and a chance to pass?

Mine has to go back. No big deal at all. Might as well get a complete ultra instead of just the guts.

That was my plan as well, but this 41-P has me worried that I won't get it in on time. What's your thought on that?

That is where the problem is. By the time the Form 3 clears and it ships to my dealer, is about the time we would know if it passes or not. If it does then I have a can at my dealers that I cannot take possession of because I am in Arapahoe County and they have never signed off on suppressors or any form for that matter.

Plug your item number into their site where the "status" link is and that's where your tracking will show ahead of time before it goes out. When I place dealer orders yes I get an email per RMA with a tracking number and carrier when my items ship so I would assume the same with these.
