http://pact.com/ works great for me
I bought one of these on sale from Midway six or seven years ago. Does everything I need.

Competition Electronics Pocket Pro II is also a good choice. Personally I prefer the Competition Electronics timers and the vast majority of local clubs use them for hosting matches. You really can't go too wrong with any of the top brands though. The only suggestion I can give you is to get a timer that uses a replaceable 9V battery. The timers that have integrated rechargeable batteries are cool (like the CED7000), but Murphy's Law comes into effect and the battery will be dead when you actually need to use it. I have lost count of how many times I went to use my CED7000 timer but couldn't use it because the battery was dead. I mainly use the CED7000 timer for dry fire because it has better features for that type of training. Such as the multi par time feature. But mainly its because I don't trust the battery not being dead when I want to use it if I forget to take it out of my range bag and put it back on the charger. When I go to the range I use my trusty Pocket Pro II timer. Put a high end Lithium 9V in it and it will last a loooooooooong time. I can usually get a year of battery life out of the Lithium 9V and I use my timer a LOT throughout the year.
There is an optional battery pack add-on that plugs into the CED7000, that uses AAA batteries. If the internal battery dies, you can still use it. I have taken the batteries out of my amplified ear muffs once, and just went with out the amplification. Worked perfectly for several hours and I put the batteries back in my muffs afterward. There's also a travel charger for it that can plug into your car while you're headed to the range or once you get there...
They're like $10 each for these accessories... I thought they were well worth it.

I have an old Pact I bought new about 11 years ago that never really got used - used in one practice session. I can test it out if anyone is interested buying it.
I switched over to this, which was nice for solo practice: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/759...000-shot-timer
