How that I have two ARs I'm looking at a new carrying system. Not sure if I want a hard or soft case. Show me how your carry your ARs to the range, etc.
Currently I just have a soft case with pockets in from for the mags.

i'm sure this is entirely unhelpful to you, but i'm in the same boat and have been looking at the Plano Gun Guard

i have heard tell that wal-mart had this as a door buster last Christmas and were selling them for $40. I have never even seen one in a WM. Jensen's has this case for a few bucks cheaper than Amazon.
I have the same issue and I checked out a couple of bags over at Bowers that hold two AR's. IIRC they were in the $90 or so range. Soon as I make up my mind on which I want I am probably going to pick one up.
This is what I have that works for me-it's a 5.11 that was on clearance at LAPG:

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
Anyone else??

Soft case for local ranges. Hard cases (Pelican) for travel.
I prefer something cheap and over the years have picked up several youth baseball bags from Goodwill/Thrift Stores. These make for a very low key way of transporting locally.
YMMV
Be safe.
Stag's side pocket system is pretty bad ass.....
I run hard cases for the bolt guns all the time. Softies for the AR's, most of the time, but sometimes hard cases.
I have 2 of these, one in 36" and one in 42" mine are black though.
Each will carry 2 rifles, 2 pistols, and enough mags to complement each.
I've been looking at the Drago packs, I think I may grab one of those next.
