And public support means dick if a candidate isn't nominated because the public that favored him/her didn't vote in a primary or attend a caucus.
Cruz’s 8 delegates make up 0.65 percent of what he would need to win the Republican nomination.
Trump and Rubio get 7 delegates each.
Iowa has never been as important as the hype of being the first election of the season.

Cruz lies to supporters about who is funding his campaign.
    Can't be trusted.

Almost all of these donors are Washington DC lobbyists. All of them directly funding Ted Cruz, not a Super-PAC, but his direct campaign. – SEE FOR YOURSELF – The entire statement:

…”I will never get — nor do I want — money from the DC lobbyists”…
…is a flat out lie. It is not a misstatement, it is a complete and total falsehood.

♦ Then take a look at the #2 Bullet Point: “After winning Iowa the Washington cartel is most certainly more determined than ever defeat me”. Again, look at the truth:

Sure he's entertaining... if you're the kind of person who finds spineless egomaniacs entertaining:

I'm not really fond of Cruz but I'd vote for him against any of the Democrats. That said, he is just about the most unlikeable candidate from the GOP. Most of my middle of the road coworkers said they'd vote for Hillary over Cruz. Regardless of his politics he will cost the GOP the White House if he gets the nomination.

I'd rather have Cruz on the Supreme Court than in the White House. Having said that, I'd take any one of the Republican candidates (including the ones who dropped out) over the Dems. Any one. This country cannot afford another Democrat in the White House, especially the three that are running and the two or three that are waiting in the wings in case the DOJ does its job and actually charges Hillary.
