What part of SoCal? Which route are you taking?

If you have a lockable Glove Box and lockable center console, you can split the gun and mags between them, as long as they are separate. No ammo in or around the locked gun.

Also, it never hurts to be a "good little citizen" and avoid any trouble. Situational Awareness is ALWAYS the most important thing, regardless.

We are heading to the Mojave Desert area. We used to go down to his Dads properties when said friend of over 20 years were stationed together in CA, ride dirt bikes/atv's, party it up and have a great time. My last trip out netted me a busted up arm, in the middle of nowhere miles from home. LA county hospital was entertaining. We are not sure on route yet. That will be weather permitting. I like 70 to 15.

Totally agree with situational awareness. We both know were to be and when to be there. The days of "accidentally" ending up on the East side of LA are over....long over. This will likely be my last trip to CA until one last family member passes in Sonoma Valley, CA. I just can't hang out in a place so restricting of my rights. Since I follow rules, I just will not go there anymore. I would like to hang out in Johnson Valley and watch KOH every year (going on right meow) in person...but that isn't going to happen.
