Being from out of state. Might as well have your attorney with you. You must have not read the stories from NY & NJ of peopel stopped and being Honest , said that had a firearm. Felony charges, court hearings, unknown expenses for attorneys. Potential jail time.

CA is not different when it comes to a concealed weapon. ESPECIALLY from some one out of state.

Unless you're covering his legal fees. i suggest the OP ignore your helpful info.

Just make sure the mags are not for AWB style guns.
The pistol comments are spot on from what I remember.

But I am curious, which part of CA are you going into? CA is not exactly Falluja, and most places are fairly safe.

Really?? You never hear that oft repeated reply when being interviewed

YOU'D NEVER THINK SOMETHING LIKE THAT COULD HAPPEN HERE

It does and can happen ANYWHERE, ANY TIME, ANY PLACE . It's a matter of being prepared for anything. Then not be, when it's too late.

That way of thinking means one doesn't need a seat belt, fire extinguisher, spare tire, roadside assistance, Or even a phone to call 911
