Qwest for a Kel-Tec CMR-30

I've been wanting a Kel-Tec CMR-30 Carbine for a couple of years now. Of course, they're available on GB if you wanna pay stupid prices. Went to SW and axed if they'd seen one yet. Kid says, "Yeah, we've had several." He then goes on to tell me there are several in the "system" at other stores. I axe him if he can transfer one from another store? He says he'll check with the gun manager. Gun manager says, "Hold on." He picks up the phone and calls his brother at SW in Show Low, AZ and two minutes later says he'll have it in the store in 7 to 10 days...$649.99 plus tax. No shipping, no transfer fees. Still a little pricey but not bad. "Do you need a deposit?" He says, "Are you kidding? If you don't pick it up it'll sell 5 mins after I put it on the shelf." Takes my number, fills out a form with my info and says he'll call me when it hits the store.

Freakin' awesome.

Moral of the story? If, like me, you've been wanting one of these guns, check SW to see if they'll ship one in from another store. They had 2 in Pocatello, 1 in Twin Falls and several in UT. That's the only states he checked.

Probably not. I haven't done any NFA stuff. Would be cool, though. Especially if you could get one in select-fire.

I even picked up a bunch of Mags for it pre 7/1/13........ Still trying to get one.

Go to the nearest SW and see if they'll transfer one in for you. They had several in their stores out here in the west.
