I saw the trailer, and while the idea is interesting, I think the filming method (1st person) is going to make the movie suck. But I could very well be wrong.

I'm worried about getting motion-sick/nauseous. Obligatory non-link to the developers' earlier work, it's Biting Elbow's music video for bad mo****f**ker. I posted it a year or two ago and it got magic-deleted-away (it's pretty violent) so if you want to see it, just go to youtube and do a search for "biting elbows" (should be first result).

AFAIK, they're all Russian people behind the development.

yeah, never thought about watching 1st person on the big screen. On the small computer screen it looks cool but I could see how people could get motion sickness.

We also saw the trailer when we went to go see Deadpool. The 1st person view was challenging to watch and we weren't impressed, but I think the concept is interesting. Hopefully they work out the issues as I'd like to see new ideas like this rather than more sequels.

Duke Nukem movie? Are you thinking Doom w/ Dwayne Johnson? If so, egads, yes that was terrible and nausea-inducing.

Except in the Duke Nukem movie the fps part was short and horrible. This one has some scenes I really like (in the partially built/destroyed building?)

Yes Doom, and not to compare them, just to say it's not new. I like the idea for a one off movie. Could you imagine if the idea took off and there were first person romantic comedies? Even pov porn is terrible.
