Bought a mini uzi from a guy whose dad used to be a SOT holder. Dad died, kid was supposed to keep the gun, but couldn't because he wasn't licensed. He's been great to deal with, told me a couple stories about his dad, etc. A real pleasure to talk to this guy, easy to work with, and they are not always like that. Long story short, I'd like to send him a small thank you gift that ideally would also be a good memory of his dad. Family guns are hard to let go of.
Thought about one of those xrayguns.com pictures of a mini uzi - something he could hang on a wall of a man cave. Or maybe a good bottle of bourbon or scotch or something. Thought I'd check to see if anyone had any good ideas. Didn't want to just call him up and ask what his dad used to drink, which would be awesome if I knew - I'd rather just send him out a gift that would be a surprise when it shows up.
Any ideas? Maybe $50-100.
