So I had to look up the definition of what Evangelical means tonight because it is counter intuitive when I hear that Evangelicals support a fake/pretend Christian like Donald Trump. Evangelical: Of relating to, or being in agreement with the Christian gospel especially as it is presented in the four Gospels. Emphasizing salvation by faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ through personal conversion, the authority of Scripture, and the importance of preaching as contrasted with ritual. Glad I found the definition because I was beginning to think that Evangelical meant: Hypocrite, liar, deceiver and take it or leave it believer in God. I am so Glad I am a devoted Christian adhering to God’s laws and not an Evangelical. Now I know why atheists and agnostics think so poorly of Evangelicals. Please just call me a Christian and follower of Christ from here on out. And to my friends who call themselves Evangelicals that didn’t drink the Trump Kool Aid, I strongly recommend you stay as far away from the title Evangelical as you can. When will Glen finally just go away and stay away?

Picking up Beck was the biggest blunder that Cruz could make, imo. I've been listening/watching Cruz for the past 5+ years, and I've loved that he's been consistently Pro2A. Hell, I think he would even be someone who would consider trying to kill NFA/GCA if the right environment was there, which I would never say the same thing about Jeb, Rubio, or even Trump (I don't think Trump even knows what the actual laws are, but if he did and he talked about it, I'd consider listening to him). Despite the MS (or whatever bank loan it was) hullabaloo, I feel that Cruz had the closest tea-party alignment and certainly Constitutionalist alignment out of any of the candidates (Ron Paul could never get attention, and Rand got too angry, too aggressive, and pissed off too many people too soon) that could have caught the attention of the independents which is the single-most important crowd for this election. NOT the evangelicals/fundamentalists! Yes, not courting them doesn't do you any favors, but they are simply not the winning ticket this go around in any way/shape/form. It will only turn away the fence-sitters. Cruz was (and still is) my favorite for the past 3 years, but he really blew it in my opinion, barring something catastrophic happening to Trump/Rubio.
