Default Gun Bill Day in the Colorado House Committee is March 7

On March 7, the House State, Veterans and Military Affairs committee is scheduled to hear all the pro-gun bills pending in the House. They are listed below. Last year this was the committee that killed all the pro-gun bills. The same thing may happen again this year. While the make up of the committee has changed a little from last year, it is still majority Democratic. If you have the time and wish to testify please feel free to show up.

    1:30 p.m.
Room 271 State, Veterans, and Military Affairs
HB16-1179 Buck--Concealed Carry For Military Personnel
HB16-1023 Everett--Deadly Force Against An Intruder At A Business
HB16-1024 Saine and Humphrey--Repeal Ammo Magazine Prohibition
HB16-1204 Neville P.--Allow Concealed Carry On Public School Grounds

Please let these pass and restore some of my faith in this state...

CCW for military would be nice, though proof of military service does satisfy state CCW training requirements.

Deadly force would probably get veto'd by the governor. So would the magazine ban repeal. Likely CCW on public school grounds too.

Yeah, completely useless bill. I don't see the point? But that MAY pass just so they can say they are not anti gun in this state (even though nothing will change from how it is now?) And whats the point when you can't carry, or even have a firearm in your vehicle when you have to go on base every day?

Little hope anything else will pass.

The point is to make dems defeat pro gun bills every chance we can. This puts them on record, keeps the issue alive and who knows, we might just slip one by.

If Republicans just wait until they're in charge to push these bills they reduce the chance that they'll ever be in charge because they'll be seen as "do nothings" by the people.

Nothing negative about it. Every time dick-in-pooper vetoes pro gun legislation it pisses people off a little more (both at him and his party).

Tag for results. I'm not sure if a feed of these will be streaming but I don't think I can bear to watch.

The stress caused by the 2013 bullshit probably took a year off my life.

    Ya this.

I sure wish these could gain some traction. HB16-1024 is tops on my list. I hate having my gun purchasing decisions based on what mags I can legally buy.

Maybe if they can some way make it to the desk of Gov. dickenpopper he just might sign off on them now that he is getting some ass !!!

    Yes I have been drinking.

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.
