Hello from Colorado Springs

Hello everyone. I recently moved to Colorado after being away for several years. I'm very happy to be back in this wonderful state even with the cold weather coming through tonight. I was previously stationed at Buckley for a couple years and the fond memories drew me back. Hunting and shooting have always been one of my favorite pastimes. I also started getting into IDPA before I moved so I'm looking to start that back up here as well as get my CCW soon. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

The only thing I've noticed so far is how much bigger the Springs seems to be than I remember it was in ~2008. I was stationed up in Aurora and didn't come down that often but it seems the area is a lot more developed and a lot of chain stores and restaurants have opened up. I don't see that as a bad thing though. I'm trying to tell myself Colorado Springs is where I'm going to stay for the next decade or two and further expansion could be good.
