Default Transfer via last will and testament

I have been unable to find (or understand) a short answer to the following

Is it legal and acceptable to bequeath the high capacity magazines I've held for years to my son in state of Colorado?
It appears to me his acceptance of these would not be legal and putting this in writing an unwise decision?

    Thanks

You can finally start using it, since you'll also be a ghost at that point.
