EULESS, Texas — An officer died in a confrontation with a suspect, WFAA reported.

Police responded to calls of shots fired Tuesday. The suspect exchanged gunfire with the officers as they arrived on scene.
The suspect was also killed in the shootout, according to CW33.
Both the officer and suspect were pronounced dead at separate hospitals.
An investigation is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
