My wife and I went out for sushi for a well deserved date night the other day. At the table next to us were 4 college aged girls and two adults. One of the girls had lime green hair, FWIW.

After a few minutes my wife says to me, "What's wrong?"

Well, the 4 girls were going on and on loudly about Bernie and I couldn't hide my disgust.
"Education is a fundamental right"
"Yeah, too bad I started college already. When he's elected it will all be free"
"I'm sure we'll get rebates"
"Totally. We spend way too much on the military...more than ever before. Everyone could to college for free with that money"
"It's sick that wall street pays no taxes. They get away with that"
"They should all go to jail"
"Is sushi gluten free?"
"Dunno. I wonder if it's vegan"
And on and on.

The interesting thing was that I didn't hear the adults say a damn word about anything but the food.

Thankfully they left after about 10 minutes and the fog of stupid left the room.

Now being from the down state area. I'm the guy who leans over and says ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Where do you think the money is coming from to allow you to turn this dream in to reality. Of course it deteriorates from there.

The money is there for the first year, it's the follow on years where you start to run out of other people's money.

As a taxpayer, I want my rebate for their failed education. They clearly fail math, logic, American history, and civics. The one claiming to be in college fails in what should be middle school topics so clearly her school needs to revisit their admissions standards.
