"Where will the money come from?"

The response I get when I ask that question is, "The rich people, corporations, and banks, who pay little or nothing in taxes. It is time they begin paying their fair share." Most of Bernie's supporters believe this and there isn't enough air in my lungs to ever convince them otherwise. This is the same populist/progressive argument that has been used since one person first believed they got the short end of the stick. Many of these people believe they are on a righteous crusade to right inequality (as they see it). Being a SJW has it's own religious fervor. Many believe they are continuing the struggle by "trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored."

As a taxpayer, I want my rebate for their failed education. They clearly fail math, logic, American history, and civics. The one claiming to be in college fails in what should be middle school topics so clearly her school needs to revisit their admissions standards.

Maybe if we give them free college they will finally learn economics, math, logic, common sense, civics, world and American history. And possibly college could even teach them something about all of the failed socialist/communist countries throughout world history. Also in the history of mankind the fundamental flaw with socialism and distributing the wealth evenly, no one will ever worked as hard for a stranger as they will for there own families. But then if they didn't lean any of this in K-12 then I doubt college will help regardless of the cost. If they want to complain about anything being unfair they should be trying to get the money that was stolen in taxes and failed to educate them in public schools, because that was the real waste of free money.

We're paying for K-12 and we don't get a say in the kids are taught, I don't think "free" college will be any different. Remember what Pelosi said "blah, blah, follow bliss, blah, arts, blah blah".

More on TheBern and his redistributionist idiocy.

What a young Ingrid Bergman was to feminine beauty Bernie Sanders is to muddled thinking.

Although he has no idea where wealth comes from, the Septuagenarian socialist is convinced the top 1% got theirs by exploiting the rest of us. “Democratic socialism means that we must create an economy that works for everyone,” Sanders explains as he denounces Wall Street greed, damns corporate campaign contributions and tells Americans we don’t need 23 brands of deodorant.

America became the richest country on earth by allowing individuals to maximize their potential, by rewarding success, by fostering a work ethic, and by encouraging risk-taking, the accumulation of capital and innovation.

Socialism destroys everything in the last quote.

This is why a flat tax, both for individuals and corporations (possibly separate rates), is a good idea in my book. Shuts them down from the get-go.

The funny thing about a flat tax is that the middle class would actually be paying more taxes, rather than perceiving to pay more taxes like they do now.

I like the idea of a flat tax. I am not sure there are enough D voters who would support any plan that doesn't punish the evil rich people.

This is a part of their religion; to punish those who have plundered society and consumed extravagantly (in their minds).

The progressive tax isn't progressive enough for many of the Bernie supporters. The latest Bernie meme I saw, promoted that Bernie's tax plan would not raise taxes on anyone making less than $250k per year. Without getting into the truthfulness of that statement, I believe that in the minds of his suppporters, people who make over $250k per year are evil and proflegate and have not paid their fair share. The amount is arbitrary. For someone who has no job or makes minimum wage and pays little or no taxes, it is easy to argue that people making that much money should pay more.
