I don't know, I think all this could work in Trump's favor. It's not like anyone who supported him is going to not vote for him because FSA/BLM stopped him from campaigning, it's going to do the opposite and perhaps grab a few independents & fence-sitters. It'd be pretty genius if those conspiracy-theorists saying that Trump orchestrated this are correct.

How is a protest going to capture a fence sitter vote? I don't think it will work out that way.

I think things just changed. Not only do we look like a third world country but the political process is overtly being compromised.

It's one thing for Libs to say "we won!" and control the Federal government to force change that folks don't want. But another thing to lack the legitimacy of the process. If you cheat, did you really win?

If a person were closely examining the moral/ethical lay of the land, I'd say it just changed.

Me too. Cruz just terminated his campaign, IMHO.

You don't look at a Soros funded, Ayers organized shut down (it wasn't a protest) composed of Bernie Sanders supporters and then blame the Republican target.

There is a theory that the Trump camp may have wanted this to happen as it would further polarize the field. If so, Cruz played right into it. He has either disqualified himself by being stupid or by being a traitor. Either way, unprecedented GOP shenanigans withstanding, he is done.

If Republicans (especially Trump supporters) protested and shut down either D candidate rally you know there would be screams of Racists, Nazi's, bullies, strong armed intimidation tactics, etc. Instead the headlines read of We Won!! Trump stopped dead in his tracks!! This is all such a prime example of how you better be PC in this country and if you don't follow the PC crowd you will be ostricized. The social climate in this country and what is being allowed to happen is disgusting.

I'm a Cruz supporter and after this I think its over for him as well. Oh well, as much as I think he'd make a good president I really would love to see him stay in the Senate for a while and maybe end up with Mitch's job someday.

I think he would have done very well as President and probably about the best we could hope for (in a lot of ways). I don't think we're going to vote our way out of what's happened/happening but I think he was a good option. Trump has some things going for him as well (love him or hate him). Also not going to be our savior.

I have been thinking for some time now that America will not be saved. Western civilization is in its twilight and what replaces it is going to be very dark. Thankfully as a Christian I believe that the end of western civilization is an unfortunate but necessary step for the return of Christ and our eventual victory (I just hope he doesn't keep us waiting for another two thousand years).

I'm a Cruz guy I agree with Skip and Zundfolge; Cruz is probably done, shot himself in the foot. Rubio is just going through the motions, campaign been on life-support since he's the new GOPe darling.

No man shall know the day or hour.

The dark ages came and went with a lot of parallels to what is happening now. There is hope that a remnant could be carved out if people have the courage to make it, learning from the mistakes that got us here.

Stepping back from it all, the US is 320M+ people welcomed from all over the world who, thanks to the elimination of states' rights, all have to live under the same system/values decided by 51% of (supposedly) eligible voters. It shouldn't be surprising that the nation is no longer ideologically compatible.

    Makes sense to me!
