I smoke cigs, so I have to go outside on break. Even while im smoking, I can smell weed. There are 4 grow houses within a stones throw of the plant. It's gross.
I love working in the Oil Field.
They all still drug test, and fire immediately for it. I don't have to deal with any of the damn druggies.
Anytime I am out riding though, I absolutely smell it, and I hate it. It really makes me want to tell the idiots off, but I know it won't do any good.
Its why I left New Amsterdam.

I never cease to be amazed at the idiocy of many pot smokers who believe they can't be fired or are restricted from hiring because they smoke pot. The typical response is this:
Those folks don't see how many jobs need the employees completely mentally unimpaired for safety reasons or that an employer maintains the right to set their own drug use standards.
I guess I'm glad I gave up riding well before pot got legalized here.
I'll bet it's still a neat place to visit; briefly.

No pot heads working for my company. We're regulated by a list of government entities as long as your arm. I even remember the DOT sending out an email when the stuff became legal specifically saying it was still forbidden.
Oh, and I rode a bit this afternoon and didn't smell any pot.
Very few pot-heads working in my organization. We do frequent no-notice drug testing.![]()
