    Default Flat vs curved trigger

Looking at getting a CMC tac drop in trigger and am having a hard time deciding on the flat or curved blade trigger.

Any pros or cons on either one. This is not a dedicated precision rifle if that matters.

i cannot comment on the CMC triggers, but i have both the flat and curved geissele triggers. FOR ME... I like the curved trigger better, i'm just use to a curved trigger and the extra length of the flat trigger takes time to get use to. YMMV

I am hooked on the flat triggers. I run them in my match rifles, now I want them in everything. I like that you can set you finger anywhere you like, high, low, middle. seems like there is more room preference. I also think it will be personal preference, some people may love them, some may hate them.

I'm very sensitive to the distance from the back of the grip to the face of the trigger. Too long is utter disaster. I can't get a clean break in dry fire without serious amounts of contortion of my hand. When the distance is short, I can do just about any damn thing with my right hand and get beautiful breaks.

I like flat triggers and run them in my precision AR's for the reason Peter states above. If you're going to go that route, I'd strongly recommend a grip with replaceable back straps in various thicknesses. Magpul's version works well for me. Once you get it put together, you can fiddle with the various inserts and see what gives you the most forgiving hand position.
