    Default NRA Ballot

Anyone know of any good voting guides, candidates, or have opinions? I try to do some research before I vote.

Looks like we have a gentleman from Englewood on the list this year.

    My ballot hasn't arrived yet.
HOWEVER IF TIM KNIGHT is up for re-election he gets my Vote.. ANY CO LIFE MEMBER should have Tim at the top of the list thanks to his efforts for the recall elections.

Voted for Tim last year (I think). That one was easy.

    Thanks for the link--I'll research.

I lean toward some of the star power on the list just because they tend to get free media attention. Doesn't hurt to have some minorities speaking for our cause as well. Some of the people I have right now are: 1) Richard Childress of RCR racing, Dale Earnhardt's best friend and boss, 2) Karl Malone of Utah Jazz fame, 3) Allen West congressman, 4) Oliver North, 5) Pete Brownell, 8) Antonio Hernandez.

Right now I have mixed feelings on Steven Schreiner of CO. He has a strong resume, but he's endorsed by the Golden Gun Club. And those people piss me off, I called and emailed them 3 or 4 times and never could get a return call or any membership info.

Thanks GK, I just didn't know if he was tied to GGC in any way. If he's a good guy I'll mark his name. I don't think I will be voting for the suggested up to 25 people on my ballot, I just don't have info on that many.

Schreiner is frequently at the Colorado Springs Sertoma gun shows. He was campaigning for years as a write-in candidate trying to break into and fight some of the entrenched powers on the NRA BoD. In my opinion, a very strong supporter of the Second Amendment and little guy gun owners. Not a big fan of Wayne "Send me more money" LaPierre.
