Cdot has issued a traction law for all highways in denver metro. Must have, chains, snow tires or 4wd. First time ever.

Seems a little extreme, but if true is probably due to the ice under the snow.

Can't find that on CDOT's website.

Yeah, we lost ours a little over a half hour ago too...'cept I'm about 15 minutes south of Thornton.

Fortunately, ours came right back on after that post. Getting nasty looking out there.

The neighbor's plum tree was struggling under the weight of the snow sticking to it and the wind....and there are no leaves on it.

It started snowing here just after midnight. We got about 3" on E. Orchard Mesa; snowing lightly now, The quail are calling differently this morning, kinda sounds like WTF?

Woke up, looked out the window and couldn't see my neighbors houses, called work at 7 and everything was open. Got ready, jumped in the Jeep w/4x4 set, left at 7:50....called into work again and it's closed as of 7:40. ..dangit...
