Blizzard warning is in effect until 6p according to the National Weather Service. The "professional" tv weather guessers are now saying snow should clear out by late afternoon/early evening.

LOL you got me. Well you can't take a bet after the event being bet on already occurred.

I knew I had a good chance of being wrong but held out hope as I went to bed last night. Temps ended up being a good 10 degrees lower than forecast and that made all the difference.

14 inches in Applewood. Still coming down. Branches broken across drive way. Will need chain saw to remove it. But mean time... warm indoors. Playing ham radio and drinking coffee. Let it snow!

Just because you can go easier and faster with 4 wd does not mean you can stop faster. If you can't figure this out, the ditch is for you!

I had a front wheel drive car, and when it got deep all it did was plow some snow then stuck, what a POS.

We have about 100' visibility and 60 mph gusts, it has been that way for the last 3 hours. Wife already managed to get the truck stuck in the driveway so we're not going anywhere for quote a while. ;-)
