My Feedback
Big difference between a paying member on non-paying member too.
Poll here did not stipulate.
The captcha crap searching the EE is a load of BS for non-paying members IMHO. Perhaps if it was less restrictive, it would promote more use and foster more paying members.
There's several boards I pay or donate to enjoy more features, access to member only trading forums etc. Barfcom isn't one of them.

This is the only board where I don't feel like it's just a bunch of random tools chatting on the Internet. I haven't met a lot
of you but enough to know there are real people here. Real opinions and real character and when push comes to shove there is any number of dudes here who would step up to help a brother out.
Progressive ideology, ideas so good they must be mandatory.
Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you.
I use it when I'm researching and to browse the FS sections. Other than I don't participate in any discussions they have there, it's a zoo.

I go on about once a month--usually when the people here are slacking and not providing enough content to read
I go on AKFiles more frequently
It strikes me as big-city, and I feel more of the country mouse with that kind of forum.

Feedback for TheGrey
I signed up there after I signed up here. Same as others for technical info. There's alot of industry news and interaction there with suppressors and a couple other subsections that interest me. I rarely post and usually to ask something or help someone that hasn't been helped yet. The general disposition doesn't give me a warm fuzzy like you guys do...
I never signed up there. I have read through some things after coming up on a internet search. There is some good information there, but lots of crap to dig through to find it. I'm inactive on rimfire central, and belong to one other by hunting/shooting site that I am active on.
Yeah, free membership since I am a mod over there, so I have to visit it at least once a day.
Good technical forums, probably the best ham forum online.
Belong to probably 12 or more gunforums but only visit here, arfcom and 1911 forums regularly
Can't remember if I ever signed up or not. I think I visit it occasionally when someone links to a good article like form 1, or battle field vegas threads. Used to be active on THR and SAW forum, but some of the crap there bothered me. Also Calguns when I lived there. Still visit the Brian Enos forum daily as a lurker for some great tech and shooting info from some of the best shooters. Always been into thechnical info like gun tech and shooting tips. (Not that my skill show it.) M4carbine is interesting too, but you have to wade past some bs there and not question the dogma.
But I think this forum has the best signal to noise ratio by far. Feels more like a friends chat group than a forum. At some point in my life I just decided I did not have time for the drama that goes on some of the other forums.
