    Default Silencerco Hybrid anyone?

So initially the take on the Silencerco Hybrid and other multi caliber cans was that it would do everything but nothing very well. Well Silencerco is claiming some pretty low DB readings some of which are lower than their dedicated cans. Anybody have first hand experience with these?

Mine is in jail right now. To be honest, the versatility of the Hybrid outweighs any other negative it may have concerning increased weight or dB. It's ability to be used on so many calibers and weapons systems will save me from giving the ATF more of my money.

I'm expecting approval on one any day as well.

I don't care if it's heavy, I won't know the difference. I'll be so giddy, I won't even feel it.
When I have as much cool stuff as Hoser, I'll complain about weight AND wait. ;-)

I have one here that the customer is waiting on approval for. Nice can but it is heavy and larger than most due to volume. For my personal ones i prefer dedicated cans. I probably won't carry any more of them as most folks prefer the dedicated can size when they see the difference. I believe it does fit a niche market for the person who only wants one can.

I bought one last weekend. Had my mind set on something else but ended up going with the Hybrid in the end. Should have done a little more research and having a little buyers remorse now (my fault completely for not sticking with my original purchase plans and doing upfront research).

I really wanted a dedicated 308 can and now kick myself. The claims of light weight are misleading because they do Not include adapters and end caps. When you put a QD and end cap it is heavier then the older cans. Also it comes with a .45 something end cap so for me to get the max suppression I need a .308 end cap which adds another $70. QD another $140(ish) plus muzzle brakes.

I'm mostly wondering about suppression. Not so much concerned about size and weight right now. It's a do all can with a .46 bore. I'd rather buy an ASR mount and various adapters than go through the hassle of buying dedicated .45 or .30 cal cans right now.
