I have no doubts that many people will die from the heat. obama and is minions are doing everything they can to kill off our electric supply. In 20 years we may only have human pedal electric generators. Its hard to not overheat doing that. The pedaling may help you stay warm in the winter though.

Most people have no concept of how big this planet really is, and how insignificant humans are to this big rock. You could probably give every human on Earth 4 sq.ft. to stand on, and not even fill up Kansas. (Just my WAG)

The accepted border between our atmosphere and outer space is about 65 miles. Get the biggest globe you can find, measure off 65 miles on the surface, then come that distance up above the surface of the globe. That's a pretty damn thin atmosphere around this planet! We think those airliners are waaaay up there at 35-40,000 feet, but when you actually measure that distance from the surface of a globe, even a huge one, it's eye-opening.
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!

Rosen called it a "grand conceit" to think that we have so much of an influence on the planets overall climate. I believe he's right.

And "they" have actually convinced a good portion of people that carbon is bad. I was taught in school that carbon was the building block of life. And that plants "eat" CO2. It's a pollutant now.

Bizarro World these days. Fuckin liberals and the media.

I thought the last I heard was the entire world could live in Texas with a population density of Tokyo. I've got no source on that.

found this. Infographics are always fun.

...and then compare that to our sun, the biggest source of heat in our solar system.

I don't think that human activity is insignificant, not at all. That doesn't mean I think there should be Federal pressure though.
