Default Best local to Denver for ammo?

Where do you guys like to get bulk ammo locally in the Denver area? 5.56/500 or so rounds in particular. If I can equal online prices (especially when you add in shipping) I'd like to do so. Thanks.

    500 rounds is bulk?

You can get that at any sporting goods store.

    Mini-bulk (kinda like Mini Ditka)??

Well yeah, most stores carry a variety of "larger than normal" box size, i.e. 300, 420, 600. Just seeing if any one out there finds better prices at a particular store.

Drop the coin for 1K plus per order. gets your cost per K low enough. It covers some of the shipping. THEN post some of the ammo on line, with a reasonable mark up (just under the LGS price) and call it a day.

    500 rds? That's a slow range day.

Well I am slow at the range LOL. Usually I don't have to buy my own but just looking for some to keep around for giggles.

FWIW: in another month or so. That should have ordered more ammo, is about to become a reality. I'm stocking up on components.
Ordering case lot ammo for the kid, her boyfriend and my nephew (CA residents). They have friends who are or willing to pay almost 2x the average since every CA shooter is in MODE. Over this latest ammo ban / BGC / permit to buy ammo bill / proposed ballot.

Closer to Nov 16, don't be surprised when you get an OOS. NO BACKORDERS at this time message is everywhere. I've been through Ban's since the 80's.
This next one, believe me, the left / Crazy Bunch has learned their lesson.

500 as "bulk" - good one!

Unfortunately, in my experience, volume pricing for ammunition doesn't kick in until the partial-pallet stage. At best maybe you get a break on shipping for multi-case orders, which helps not at all for pickup/local retail sales.

I guess case pricing is better than buying in individual 20rd boxes, at least at most retail storefronts.

I've never seen in-store bulk that could match SGAmmo. Wal-Mart generally has the best prices on ammo locally, and they have 420 count ammo cans of XM193 frequently these days. But, it's still more than SG
